The Turkish authorities arrested 7 people on Tuesday because of suspicion of selling information for the benefit of the "Mossad"
Some news channels quoted security sources saying that the 7 defendants were arrested in a joint operation between the Turkish intelligence service and the Istanbul Security Directorate
She said that preliminary investigations showed that the suspect, Hamza Turhan ibrak, a former government employee who appeared several times on talk shows on television channels, communicates with the Mossad through a woman named "Victoria".
The investigations showed that Ibrik " worked as an informant for the Mossad, using in his activities a group of government employees who formed a spy network for money, and Ibrik was tasked with collecting information about people and companies from the Middle East for the Mossad
She explained that the beginning of ibrak's involvement in working for the Mossad dates back to 2019, when he underwent Israeli training in the Serbian capital Belgrade, to be assigned some simple tasks, and later, under the guidance of the Mossad, ibrak began using encrypted and confidential communication applications, while he adopted digital currencies for payment, in order to avoid entering the official records department
She added that in addition to leaking information, ibrak was also involved in surveillance and threat activities for the Mossad, where he installed tracking devices in the cars of the targeted people, to transmit the locations of these people directly to Israeli intelligence, and it turned out that he deliberately harassed the targeted people, and threats to them from time to time.
