Turkish Meteorology warns citizens of heavy rains and unstable weather

As the cold increases and spring looms, Turkish meteorologists are still issuing their warnings, noting the continuation of rains in some of the many regions.

The general Meteorological Department has issued a new warning of heavy rains expected in six provinces.

According to a statement issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology of Turkey, starting from Monday, the provinces of "Diyarbakir", Mardin, Batman, as well as East shanli Urfa, West Sirte, and West sharnak, are expected to witness heavy rains.
He warned of the presence of snow in high-altitude areas, where "east of Sirte" (Pervari), east of sharnak (Uludere, bitushibab), north of Batman (Sassoon), and north of Diyarbakir (Kolb) are expected to witness rains mixed with snow and heavy snow at times.
The department adds a warning of possible disruptions in transportation, as a result of the prevailing weather conditions.
