President "Erdogan" inaugurates a new metro line

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated, on Tuesday, a new metro line connecting the “Arnavutkoy” neighborhood with Istanbul International Airport.

Erdogan noted that the new line has a length of 15 km and consists of 4 stations.
He explained that the line reduces the distance between the “arnawut Quay” neighborhood and the airport to 8 minutes, and between the neighborhood and the city center to 41 minutes.
He pointed out that the length of the railway system in the city has increased to about 165 km since the opening of Istanbul airport, while the total distance reached about 362 km.
