Official visit of Palestinian President "Mahmoud Abbas" to Turkey

Palestinian President "Mahmoud Abbas" arrived in Turkey on Tuesday for a three-day official visit.
She said that during his visit, Abbas is scheduled to meet with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, within the framework of Political Consultations between the two presidents and the two friendly countries, in light of their historical ties and relations.
She added that the visit is of great importance at this delicate stage in the process of the Palestinian cause, in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the Israeli government's repudiation of the agreements and the foundations on which the political settlement process was established.
The Palestinian president is accompanied on his visit by the Secretary General of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein al-Sheikh, and his adviser on Diplomatic Affairs, Majdi al-Khalidi
